What is holistic ADHD coaching?

Holistic ADHD coaching looks at the whole person, not just the task list. Pen King Jr. works one to one with people with ADHD on starting tasks, returning after a break and choosing what comes next, and uses nervous system regulation practices alongside plain, practical steps. It is coaching, not therapy or medical care.

How one-on-one coaching works

What happens on a free ADHD discovery call with Pen?

It is a free 30-minute video call. You tell Pen what has been hard, he asks a few questions about your days, and you leave with one next step to try. Your camera can stay off and there is no obligation to sign up for anything.

Is ADHD coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is forward-looking, practical support. Therapy and medical care treat conditions and are provided by licensed professionals. Pen is not a doctor or therapist and does not give advice about medication. He can work alongside a doctor or therapist, never instead of one.

ADHD coaching vs therapy

Who is ADHD coaching with Pen for, and who is it not for?

It is for people with ADHD who feel stuck or overwhelmed and want practical support. It is not for anyone looking for therapy, diagnosis, medication advice or crisis care. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988.

What can I try today if I cannot start a task?

Name the task in one sentence, make the first move under two minutes, set the room, run a ten-minute timer, then write one line about where to pick up. The free Start Card walks through these five steps.
