Usage, not a subscription

Pay for what you actually use

The coach charges a token when it writes something for you, and nothing when it does not. There is no monthly fee, nothing renews, and tokens do not expire. Everything you record about yourself — every score, the whole trend, the entire reset library — stays free for good.

Token packs

One payment. The bigger the pack, the cheaper each token gets, and that is the only difference between them — nothing is unlocked by spending more.

Small

75 tokens

12¢ a token

Enough to ask seventy-five things, or to get a read of your history and still have most of it left. A sensible way to find out whether this is any use to you.

Standard

300 tokens

9.7¢ a token

About a question a day for most of a year, with room for a monthly read of your own numbers and a plan when you want one. This is the one to pick if you are not sure.

1,000 tokens

7.9¢ a token

For working at something properly over a year or more — asking freely, reading your history every week, and never thinking about the balance again.

Tokens never expire and nothing renews — a pack is one payment, and it is the last one unless you decide otherwise. Buying needs a free account, because a balance nobody owns is a balance that disappears when you clear your browser. Refunds within thirty days, no questions; the tokens come back off the balance when the money goes back on the card.

What each thing costs

Four things on this site call a model, and those four are the whole price list. Everything else is arithmetic on rows you wrote, which costs nothing to run and is therefore not charged for.

1 token
A question to the holistic coach Answered only from naturopathic medicine, Ayurveda, classical Chinese medicine and the peer-reviewed research on them, with the evidence named and the safety line attached.
3 tokens
A read of your measurement history What your last eight check-ins are doing, which item is moving, and which reset your own before-and-after numbers say is working for you.
4 tokens
A pattern read of what you have asked The thing a coach does that no single answer can: notice that the same subject has come back six times across three weeks. The counting is free to look at — you only pay if you want it written up.
5 tokens
A seven-day practice plan Built around your lowest Regulation Index item, from the resets your own data ranks highest, with a cue attached to each day.
Free
An answer that was already written Ask something the coach has answered before and you get it from cache without paying for it again. A personalised answer is never cached, and never served to anybody else.
Free
A question the corpus cannot cover Ask about something outside those four traditions and the coach says so plainly instead of improvising. Being told no is not a purchase.
Free
Anything with crisis language in it Never reaches a model at all. It returns real phone numbers, immediately, and no balance is looked at before it does.
Free
An answer that did not arrive Tokens come off after the words exist, not when you press the button. A failure costs you nothing and needs no email to put right.

What stays free, permanently

A free account starts with 25 tokens and collects 10 more at the start of every month, whether you have ever paid or not. On top of that, none of this has ever cost anything and none of it is going to:

  • The Regulation Index — five questions, about a minute, no account needed at all
  • Your score, your band, and your trend across every week you have ever measured
  • The twenty-four-item Regulation Profile, and the domain it says is weakest
  • Every reset in the library, including the timers and the audio
  • The daily note, if you want one, at whatever hour you pick
  • Every read, plan and answer you have already been given — they stay readable forever
  • A free clarity call with Pen, which uses no tokens and never has

The rule behind all of it: your own data is yours and is never rationed back to you. Tokens pay for inference — the model writing something new — and nothing else.

And the human is free

A clarity call with Pen costs nothing, uses no tokens, and has no pitch at the end of it. The coach will occasionally say so itself — when the same thing has come back for the fourth week, or when the questions have drifted onto a prescription it is built never to comment on, it will tell you that another written answer is probably not the missing piece.

At most once a week, and only ever with the reason stated. There is a link to book one under every answer, all the time, whether it says anything or not.

Questions about the money

Do tokens expire?

No. They sit on your account until you spend them. There is no monthly reset, no expiry date, and no clock running down while you are not using the site. If you buy 300 tokens and ask nothing for six months, you still have 300 tokens.

What happened to the Resonance membership?

It has been retired. A monthly subscription charged people in the weeks they did not use it and rationed them in the weeks they did, which is exactly the wrong shape for something you reach for unevenly — and worse, it put a person's own trend and their own profile behind a payment, which was never defensible. Everything that was inside it is now either free or priced per use.

If you are already a member, nothing breaks: you keep an allowance of 400 tokens a month for as long as your subscription runs, your card is charged exactly as before, and you can cancel it yourself in two clicks from the panel at the top of this page. You are not being moved onto anything without asking.

Why do I need an account to buy?

Because a balance has to belong to somebody. Tokens stored against a browser would vanish the first time you cleared it or picked up your phone instead, and selling something that can evaporate is not a thing worth doing. An account is free, takes one form, and comes with 25 tokens — so the detour pays for itself before you have spent anything.

What if an answer is bad, or does not arrive?

Nothing is charged for an answer that fails, because the token comes off after the words exist rather than when you press the button. If an answer arrives and is simply poor, email pen@pkjcoaching.com and the tokens go back on — there is no form and no argument about it.

Can I get a refund on a pack?

Within thirty days, no questions asked. The tokens come back off your balance when the money goes back on your card, which is the same event rather than two — so there is never a window where a refunded pack is still spendable. If you have already used some of them the balance can go negative, and the next pack simply starts from the real number.

Is my history used to sell me things?

Your questions are stored so the coach can notice a pattern in them, which is the one thing a human coach does that a single answer cannot. That same record is what decides whether it ever suggests a call with Pen, and when it does, it has to state the fact it is acting on — how many times, over how many weeks. There is no sentiment scoring, no mood detection, and nothing here reads what you asked and makes a guess about how you are. If something looks like a crisis, that path runs before any of this and never touches anything commercial.

Is this medical advice?

No. PKJ Coaching is not a licensed medical practice. The coach names evidence tiers, refuses to give dosages, and will not comment on your prescription — that is a conversation with whoever prescribes for you. Nothing here is a substitute for medical care, therapy or psychiatry.
